Even though experts have long
seen the added value behind
IT governance, a recent
survey involving 100 businesses with
revenues between 100 and 300 million
dollars showed that 33% of Quebec
businesses had no governance
structure while 24% had set up an
Advisory Committee and 43% were
administered by a Board of Directors.
A nation-wide study conducted
in Canada with 150 IT executives
revealed that most Canadian
companies, and especially those in
Québec, were unable to maximize
their technological investments.
