Metafore is currently looking for a Corporate system specialist for a position at a client's location.
Responsabilities
The candidate will have to perform the following tasks:
? Systems management: (20%)
o Monitors corporate systems for faults and alerts.
o Takes corrective measures or requests additional support while advising concerned parties of incidents, changes and status.
o Perform preventative and regular maintenance tasks on corporate systems according to recommendations or best practice while respecting established maintenance time window.
? Systems Operation: (10%)
o Create-Delete-Change Accounts and Groups.
o Perform backups, archiving and restoration services for systems and users.
o Prepare, activate or run batch operations
? Provisioning services: (15%)
o Provision communications services for users (cellular, blackberry, pager, conferencing and E-Fax) and accessories or peripherals that have been pre-approved by the department.
o Follow-up on orders and handles returns with suppliers.
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of assets to users.
? Servicedesk services: (25%)
o Answers support requests from end-user in a timely manner while respecting established SLAs.
o Troubleshoot and resolves incident within the established SLAs.
o Log all support requests with the appropriate level of details and properly assigned to the right groups and/or individual.
o Contribute to the solutions knowledge base.
o Participate in the mobile servicedesk rotation.
? Deskside Services: (25%)
o Move, add and change user’s computers and their peripherals according to set standards.
o Perform basic repairs and maintenance task of workgroup printers.
o Coordinate installation and repair services with service providers.
o Setup and repair communications devices (phone, voicemail, cell, blackberry, etc..)
? Department Services: (5%)
o Maintain a clean and organized working environment
o Coordinate with manager for changes in schedules, events and tasks
o Provide basic end-user training
o Inform all colleagues and if needed the organization of changes, disruptions and status updates
o Respect and apply departmental standards when applicable
Qualifications
Microsoft servers (2000, 2003, 2008)
SQL database management (2000, 2005)
Active Directory 2003.
Cisco Networking
VoIP Cisco Call Manager
Mac OSx experience required
DEC or AEC in IT required
