Description

As a technician, the candidate will have to participate in the installation, configuration, documentation and management of computer support problems. The technician will have good team spirit and tolerance to stress to ensure users’ with quality service. The candidate will be able to perform management tasks (developing users’ accounts, modifying passwords and designing users’ working environments on the network).

Responsabilities

• Responsible for performing computer systems, operating systems and application software’s primary diagnosis.
• Involved in internal and external follow-up of support calls.
• Responsible for providing top quality customer service and ensuring efficient problem solving.
• In charge of analyzing needs and finding solutions.
• Responsible for implementing systems.
• In charge of documentation.
• Involved in users’ training.
• Responsible for installing equipment.
• In charge of inventory control.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook network environments.
• Knowledge of the Windows 2000, Windows XP, Office XP and Outlook 2003 environments.
• Experience in support provided to users.
• IT Diplomas: Professional diploma, College diploma (D.E.C.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or equivalent in computer science.
• IT Certification: A+, Network+ (an asset).
• Self-sufficient and resourceful.
• Bilingual – Verbal and written French and English.
• Minimum of one year related experience.
• Capacity to manage several files simultaneously.
